Intel solves the year 2000 doomsday crisis!!!!!!

Intel needs to announce that Pentiums can solve the "year 2000 crisis", and that they are doing everything possible to "raise awareness" of the problem, and that they are forming "strategic alliances" to "assess" the problem and "plan a conversion strategy". They then need to make an emotional plea about how the problem is real, and time is running out!!

They also need to sponsor Y2K conferences and hire Peter De Jager to give a speech about how "90% of all businesses will fail" and "elevators will stop working" if this problem isn't addressed.

Peter can then place a link to Intel on his "year 2000" web site. Intel then needs to call David Stewart, Emerald Research, or some other stock "experts" and slyly tell them how Pentiums are capable of processing over 1 million LOC per second.

Intel's stock price should hit 4000 in a week. The stock will go even higher if Intel announces that they actually expect to lose money next quarter. Remeber, revenues and earnings are actually negative factors for Y2K stocks.
