worked well for him but it is my guess that it caused havoc with my 98SE. I was having a couple of the symptoms that that fix referred to so I gave it a try. Either something else went wrong at the same time or my system kinda threw up on the fix. Not trying to talk you out of using it, just telling you of my experience. Fortunately the patient didn't die.
