I don't remember Newt, Lott, or Armey being "savage toward the administration"? As a matter of fact, I don't remember them being savage even after Filegate, Travelgate, and every other gate.
Please provide me one or two examples of these people being "savage" toward the Clinton's the day they were sworn in?

Newt, Lott,Armey, and Delay simply believe in a different ideological foundation then Clinton does. In a Democracy, disagreement is the hallmark of a healthy society. Politicians can and should disagree. What you refer incorrectly to "savaging the Democratic administration", was simply the voicing of healthy political differences.
