I have to say that i have seen lots of bs chat rooms here but i have also seen some very good daytraders that give very sound advice . Tony OZ for example is very basic in his theories(mostly simple TA and money management tools) to give just one example. When i went to the old daytraders of orange county meetings, there were some so-called pros that were ripoffs and some that were good but most of all daytraders really enjoyed being there and sharing in the comradiere in being with people that shared the same or some of the same interests. I did some daytrading and was pretty efficient (my style was purely trading small cap tech stocks 5 to 20 on news ) and i was making money even on the delayed news service i was getting for free(cant seem to find an efficient news service that gives true real time news),but made a few big errors. One was i had gotten too greedy and decided to sway away from my strategy on news plays and go long on everything i was in at the moment and that greed cost me.
You can make money in this market if you dont get greedy and stick to a developed style.
When i go back to trading i want to study daytrading TA and swing trading techniques and my first goal will be to
get metastock and take the tradingschool.com course on how to work metastock.
You most traders out there are concerned for number 1 but that isnt an absolute rule that you can attach to all traders. Some truely like to share in the knowledge and help others.
