Charles, if you have today's (6/28) WSJ, check out the analysts' article
about the funds buying back the semiconductor stocks. They don't mention
any one company in particular but they say the coming explosion in PCS
and Cellular that is going to require tons of chips is making these
stocks look extremely cheap. Some of the fund managers think it might
be a little too soon to buy, but they all seem pretty sure that a long
term bonanza is in the offing. AMD hit a new low yesterday so, although
I didn't really want to buy any more stocks right now, I still added
some. I still think this stock is very undervalued as a long-term
holding and, if you can afford to wait, and maybe wait a long time, it
will pay off. Just my humble opinion, but it looks like I have a lot
of company in that thinking.
