Michael, would you or anyone know how the average holding time for equities has varied over the years? I wonder since I just saw a statistic that it's currently 8 months versus 3 years in 1995. I don't know where that comes from, it was just mentioned as an aside in a post on the MDD thread. It would be interesting to see how this correlates with the velocity of money in general, which has increased substantially due to communications/information technology (of which the internet is just a part), and which I don't particularly foresee slowing down.
