Your 2nd point.. you're telling me you're willing to spend billions of dollars on a system that MIGHT only have a 33% of succeeding.. or more accurately.. MIGHT only shoot down 1 in 3 missiles if lucky, based on results? Besides.. any nuclear threat to the US from a rogue country isnt going to be from one of them shooting off a missile at New York.. they wouldnt be so stupid; they'd just pay off a terrorist organization to smuggle the components into the States, fix something up.. put it in a suitcase and then leave it in the middle of a city.. no complex missile shield will stop that
