Wrong.........Ca is expecting to pay 10 times the rate that everyone else is paying. Bush's good friend and heavy campaign contributor, Kenneth Lay, is head of Enron corp who owns many of the power plants. Bush only helped his buddies when he lowered pollution standards cause we don't want them lowered. Ca citizens will figure out a solution. We already have the highest gasoline prices in the country so we are used to getting pilfered by energy companies. Ca. has learned something that the rest of the country will find out soon enough; ie, we are held hostage by our own energy companies so why destroy are natural lands just to get more fossil fuels. Whether it's OPEC or EXON or TEXACO or Enron........all they want is our money and they have bought off every politician in this counrty......especially Bush. They all use the OPEC business plan!!! LOL The truth will be in the pudding and will be revealed!!!
