1) Just to clarify, my newsletter is not about "picking" stocks. It's about focusing on industries that seem to be making headlines, having me and several others give some opinions on them, and then posting them as stocks to look at. If you think this is a one man show, you're SADLY mistaken. Plus, I make no recommendations. Plus, I don't send it out as junk mail, PEOPLE HAVE TO ASK FOR IT.
2) Second, I don't think of myself as a stock guru. I do think of myself as someone who knows the right people. Hell, I freely admit that half the people on this thread know more about CUBE's technology than I do. But I know what the sentiment of the market is, I know what people, very important ones at that, are thinking and doing.
3) I ain't God and I never said I was. I make plenty of mistakes, and I'm glad too, because I learn from each.
Now, case study on you:
31, South Asian origin -- that's the easy part. Parents wanted you to be a doctor, and so you did it. You've always thought about business and thus you talk big about it, but I guess the practice takes up too much time. You laugh at the ridiculousness of how the younger gen x'ers in your community, and in the U.S. in general, have adapted an "African American" lifestyle; that is why you used your slang to parody me.
You're recently married, congratulations.
You like to listen to "alternative" music.
You spend your free time playing tennis, racquetball, or squash.
You're a little short, say 5'7 and 145 lbs.
You think you're pretty superior now because you've got that MD next to your name now.
Well, indeed, I suppose you are. Keep thinking that way, it will get you far.
Please try harder to deter me.
Best of luck to you,
-PB
<<Pretty Boy,now run along yo' daddy has work to do.>>.
