How about making the Font & Size a User setting in the Options Preferences?

I dont think a one size fits all approach will satisfy everyone.

Even with a 1600x1200 desktop I have to use the old Netscape 3.0 Browser to get a good readable Font for SI. IE5.5 and Netscape 4.7 Fonts in combination with SI size settings are a pain.
