NYSE Conversion to Decimal Pricing - "smooth as silk"

New York, Jan. 29, 2001 (Bloomberg) -- Richard Grasso, chairman and chief
executive of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), responds to questions about
today's completion of the shift to decimal pricing of stocks listed on the
exchange. The NYSE initiated a gradual transition from prices incorporating
fractions, which had been the standard for 208 years.
