Patricia....re Enron (see that they donated to BOTH causes)...and other contributors to BOTH Reb and Dem causes.... look at opensecrets.org...some interesting things there...including:

1) about $188,000 to Rep Federal Candidates from Enron and about $85,000 for Dem Federal Candidates....

HARDLY a BIG contributor compared to the Top 5 for Gore and Bush (below...) and if you go to the site, you will see the top 25, and top 100.....surprises all over the place!

Gore by quite some bit had more money from the Government funding than Bush, and from Labor....I do wonder though, WHAT and WHY the FOUR departments of government were that donated to Gore....was this like Pac money ????
