Haim: Regarding inventories , you may like to see the following link that endorses my earlier point of view. thestreet.com The bubble and debacle are extremely powerful planned instruments for the transfer of hard earned savings from the dumb to the more astute of the species. All institutions dealing with derivative, swap , R/P's, & money market instruments depend on speculation . Your proposal to regulate the money supply and thus reduce the volatility will never find any support with any of those financial institutions or the wealthy.
