Dear Tim:

We have the largest market for drugs and are currently very profitable (too much IMHO). It is easy to find out the amount of any excise taxes, transport fees, etc. If they want to sell here they must justify the difference. And most subsidies are between the wholesale buyer and the end user and typically only when the buyer is the local government itself. There are no real justifications for selling drugs to those governments less than to us where, almost all of the new drugs are developed.
