the difference between the sky-isn't-falling and when-it-does-fall is exactly the window in which we have to operate. unless, patch-product demand can somehow hold up when more and more people stay home from jobs they don't have, etc. was rather stunned to see that our largest local employer here in s.w. new mex is contemplating large layoffs due to the cost of power to mine copper. p.d. is considering laying off almost a thousand at santa rita and another 600 over at tyrone. that seems a huge blow in an ecomony that was no great shakes to begin with. that canary is surfing on endless ripples. don
