News stories at jsonline.com show that Bush won and many of the preconceived Democratic notions fail to pass muster and actually increase Bush's lead! The link you had shows that they do not want to be caught with it. Probably found something wrong with the facts and pulled it (the story). Pete, Who won the popular vote? Bush knew the answer to that question and that's why he pushed to have the recounting stopped in FLA....he couldn't afford to lose the electoral college. He's a weasel......he heralded states'rights throughout his campaign and then ran to the Supreme Court to get his way. Gore was the winner....you will have to learn to accept that just as I have learned to accept that we have a Supreme Court appointed president. Not to worry....the memories of the people who voted for Gore are long....Bush will not be in the White House in 4 years. ted
