Bob, Work for two hours? Nobody mentioned that slave labor crap during the interviews. <g>
Actually, it is govt. regulation that will stop my investing posts, not time constraints. The securities regulators haven't figured out the Internet yet, other than that it is dangerous and a breeding ground for fraud. But they long ago figured out that everyone always tells the truth on the telephone, so talking about investments is o.k. No <g> on that, though it is pretty funny when you think about it. As one exec at a brokerage firm told me, "we don't like the internet because we can't control what people say there." I asked, "do you tape all your brokers' calls from the office, from their homes, from their cell phones, from pay phones?" "No, but the phone has been around longer."
But I can't blame him or his firm. Nobody wants to be the test case that makes the net legal. |
