But emotionally, people don't want to improve education. If I ran the world I would subsidize people to go to school, and if they couldn't or wouldn't go to school, subsidize them to clean and maintain the national parks, or beautify our inner cities, and provide daycare, and help the elderly- but people aren't willing to pay for that sort of thing. Well, maybe you are, I don't know, but most people aren't. However, most people can get whipped up about protecting basic industries.

There are a lot of people who are not interested in being educated. What do we do with them?
