Crosses - sometimes a brokerage house such as Nesbitt will accumulate stock from their clients who want to get rid of it and then cross that stock to Sprott for one or a few of their clients on a prearranged basis. So one group of clients wants to get rid of the stock, another wants it, and the 2 brokerage houses arrange it.
Sometimes you can sniff out the reasons why one is selling the other buying, and of course if you are going long, usually more imp to go after why the guys is buying.
