An interesting insight into the power of Butch Harmon. From the Assocated Press account of Mark Calcaveccchia's record setting win in the Phoenix Open last Sunday'
"Calcavecchia not only broke the 72-hole scoring record,he also broke the record for most birdies in 72 holes---32."
"It might have seemed even crazier because Calcavecchia had been hitting the ball in every direction[in prior tournaments] and almost went to Las Vegas on Monday for a lesson with BUTCH HARMON to try and straigten things out"
[Of course BUTCH HARMON was in the BAHAMAS doing the shoot for FIRELIGHT]
"Instead Harmon told him on the phone that he was overswinging and Calcavecchia used the advice to shoot an effortless 65 in the Wednesday Pro-am and carried on through the rest of the tournament"
This is the quality of the teacher and knowledge of the game that BUTCH Harmon is bringing to the tapes that were produced in the Bahamas and that Firelight will be marketing to the world.
