You're right. I was thinking about it last night, I used to work at a printing plant right in the middle of Skid Row in New Orleans (do cities have Skid Rows anymore?) and the hard core drinkers, the ones that slept in the gutters, the ones I had to step over to get in the building - all drank stuff like muscatel, MD 20-20, Thunderbird, and Irish Rose - fortified wines - I assume because of the sugar - they probably never ate real food. For a while the bears on this thread were living in cardboard boxes and drinking Thunderbird - what a difference a crash makes. -g-
