Ok the first thing i want to say is one........ Nadeen Jain and company are conservative on the financial side.... They notably have always undershot what their estimated results would be so they could come out at the end saying "hey looky here, we beat our estimates" their level of suprise has always been somewhere around +100% - 250%.

Next thing.... Their profit estimates are being hampered by the slowing of the economy.. Let's not forget that.

Number Three.. New partnerships that Infospace establishes were not part of the projections. Then consider the wireless market..... Major growth... meaning major partnership possibilities in the future.

I think the change in strategy is good on trying to stay out of the consumer side of things... Their core infrastructure services should just focus on wireless and broadband services... If they can gain significant traction as Jain would say in the broadband markets which is still in its infancy stage, this company's stock will go through the roof by 2002. I am of course into this for the long term.... In the short term for all you shorts out there. This stock is not going to go anywhere until at least summer when annual projections become more clear and the so called new strategy starts to show its impact.
