What will the tax status of the deal be to us DS shareholders? Will we, once our DS shares are converted into Maxxim shares, have a new, higher, taxable basis equal to the takeover price, or will our taxable basis be whatever we originally paid for our DS shares?

This will make a difference to my stock club as to what we do with our shares.
