Your remark seemed to imply that while it was a good thing to avoid fur, it was foolish to avoid slave labor.

I neither wear fur nor, if I can goddam help it, wear things made by slaves who are starved, raped, and tortured.

Nothing to do with factories of Chinese workers who have paying jobs, albeit pathetically paying ones by our standards, (child workers and their wages are especially pathetic, and I know the arguments on both sides of this issue and have expressly not engaged it).

Slaves aren't paid.
