The techniques work in all timeframes, but one thing to remember is that the timeframe you see the setup is the timeframe you should trade it in. If you see something on the weekly chart, and you want to trade it on the daily chart, you have to find a valid setup in the smaller timeframe in the same direction as the bigger one.
