In case you haven't taken an economics class lately that's the way it works. Hikes are intended to slow the economy. Sometimes you can get a soft landing, sometimes you get a recession. Sometimes the recession is specific.
Realitically, human greed ultimately results in a heated frenzie...Boom then bust.
