I do not know the answer to your question. I am not a member of the UAW, nor familiar with labor news out of Alabama. However, from the "Hmmmm" and tenor of your post, I suspect the answer is no.

If workers choose NOT to organize, that is their decision to make, and I have no beef with the outcome of any vote. If the workers feel that their lives are better without a union, then fine. What I do object to is Wal-Mart firing all of its meatcutters upon hearing reports that a union organizing drive was under way. Threw 'em all out on the street ... those for the union vote and those against it. That's the American way of doing business, by gumbo.
