In fact even larger carriers like C&W are working with NT in an innovative way to OUTSOURCE not only the building/deployment of new IP network but to MANAGE IT on a $1.4 billion dollar, 10 year outsourcing contract. Not so fast. C&W deal is mainly services. NT is integrating former Newbridge(ALA) 36170 and new 7670 (50gig, IP/ATM) switch router+ management platform into C&W networks. As you remember NT got about 300 million in gearsm where C&W is investing well over 1 billion in gears! Chack it oput if you do not belive me. The deal were signed up NT/C&W was announced. C&W told NT you have to cooperate with competitor and integrate a,b,c etc. ZO
