Most likely <<... the Dairy Queen clerk... didn't know that.>> and also did not know lots of other things, like: who is President Bush what is an oil derrick what document has the text "The Right to Bear Arms." The above example has the clerk of highschool age. Lots of times at the stores in my area when i go through the check-out counter there will be a teenager in highschool working there to make money to buy $150 sneakers like the ones i wear that cost $25 with the same construction for wear and support but without a sports hero or famous other stuff or not needed bells & whistles on it, and i ask if the time taken away from time allocated to do home-work for highschool studies... (and on and on talk) Seems that these teenagers know lots about the stuff that creates money for those who pump & dump onto these young kids to buy their products which fill those empty voided places that were once long ago when life required hard work to obtain water food & shelter and a pathway to create values one can exchange for either cash or other values. Now for young boys its filled with computer games of extreme violence and empty action and other junk food type learning that has a high calorie count but nothing real that can be used to nurture and build upon for growth. Not sure about the young girls side except i have noticed that most magazines on the racks have females presented to serve a purpose to fullfill man's lust for sexual desires. Bottom line for my understanding is that this youth generation is being feed the same way we were long ago by what we obtain in the form of attention or amusment or entertainment stuff so that we can experience life outside our boundaries. Yes, but back then it was low slow limited because the means to get our attention was low technology, but today with both parents working and easy money to be had, and the easy availiablity of things we could only obtain after highschool after working, plus stuff like computers and hand hold communication devices that make it easy to communicate in a quick and often manner that is to me too fast and quick sometimes that prevents one from from do self thinking and self research like we had to do before the info super highway. and on and on... I like this new $200 bill and suggest on its back be printed more text from what makes the usa what it is, and on the front replace prez(s) with pictures of industry that create jobs and wealth and opportunity for them young kids that will soon find out that they have not the skills or understanding to created wealth. douh
