Glenn I agree with you re that plant in San Jose. The mayor of SJ sat on the fence re the power plant and only came out against it at the last minute when the State weighed in and it was clear which side would win. CISCo's "health effects" argument is bull. They just want the site and don't want a plant next to it- they can't recruit people now; how would they recruit with a "power plant" next door, even if it is a state of the art, clean gas-fired plant. There has not been a new plant built in California in 10 years and obviously Calif had grown like crazy in that time. And the brain-dead regulators are trying to blame the utils for this. The media are now trying to frighten people by saying this condition could happen all over the country. It won't. Victor
