"Jelly, isn't that actually volatile RAM, not flash?"

Nope. It has 32 meg of SDRAM, true. But there is also 16 meg of Strataflash, at least according to the specs. But if you go to Settings->Asset View->Memory and check the flash, it says you have 16 meg, but the flash type is 28F128, which is a 16 megabyte device. Now each iPaq has two of them, so do the math. Apparently this is common, go to handhelds.org to check it out. Heck, if you want to know anything about the iPaq, go to that site, complete specs, chip description everything. You don't have to want to run Linux on it to go there. Now since we do WinCE 3.0 at work, and I have a coworker who also has an iPaq with the same "problem", we are looking into doing an ATA driver so that the extra flash can be used like a flash card. Imagine,. a built-in 16 meg. flash card...
