Real Estate going lower, I say...

Been saying it since the March NAZ meltdown, but this whirlwind of layoffs I didn't forsee , coupled w/ continued stifling of stock market "funny money", it's too obvious the consumer spending is takin a hit.

Already, rents are dropping. This is yet another incentive not to buy. Commerical properties vacancies are rising..

I think it can take in the unit of years for it to catch up with real estate prices. (Yet to be laid off, people must run dry of their savings, banks must foreclose, etc...)

Bottom Line: I don't think this is the time to buy real estate. I say wait 2-3 years and reevaluate...

God bless you all....(Ultimately, God is the only one who can determine real estate prices, so all this talk is somewhat academic...)
