Re: 1/31/01 - Yale Daily News: Blotter: Student robbed on Howe Street Published Wednesday, January 31, 2001 Blotter: Student robbed on Howe Street A Yale undergraduate was robbed by an unidentified man last Thursday night outside the student's apartment at 100 Howe St., according to police reports. The robber approached the victim in the parking lot and asked for change, then reached into his waistband and acted as if he had a weapon, police said. He never displayed an actual weapon during the course of the incident. At this point the robber ordered the student to drive him around and to hand over his valuables. The victim complied, and the suspect eventually left the car on a nearby street. The suspect was described as a man with a mustache in his mid-to-late 20s. He escaped with the student's wallet and cell phone. Yale police would not identify the victim. Detectives are investigating the incident, said Lt.
