Company has three divisions;
1. CIBT - cag-global.com - an established profitable and growing education business in China, three schools in Beijing and now offering courses over the net, partnered with City University of Renton, Wash. and serving an impressive list of multinational clients.

2. Irix - cag-global.com - a design/PR firm 50% owned, recently acquired but has been working with cpt before the acquisition ... also profitable.

3. SEGlobal - cag-global.com - the sexy division imho
seglobal.com - a network of brokerage firms, but not a broker, thereby sidestepping the regulatory hassles encountered by brokers attempting to get reps placed overseas ... they've already signed up an impressive list of broker alliances in many countries on several continents, to whom they have opened up access planet-wide using the net ... those two things make up what i call The Brilliance of the Plan - 1. regulatory stuff done already by broker allies, and 2. those allies motivated to make it work in all respects.

Development of the SEG site has been underwhelming, no question that execution there could have been better and faster ... however some improvements such as increased access to information have been promised for around this time, and there exist rumours of a possible US direct access deal that has been experimented with successfully ... other development as well, the whole thing is in flux and i remain cautiously hopeful.

The original plan as outlined in the first few posts of the SI thread was to float 49% of SEG on the Hong Kong GEM exchange, however that place has not made itself the best of reputations for the way it treats its companies, and the new Plan B is to float SEG on the US otc-bb using a vehicle called Future Technologies, ftut on the otc-bb, a letter of intent has been signed subject to conditions which are being dealt with now.

CIBT will also be floated on the otc-bb using a vehicle called VAC something ... following the SEG float, i believe, the timeframe for neither being nailed down as of this date.

Well that's a brief overview ... i hold a whack of this thing, been in for almost a year and just keep adding, so all my comments regarding it should be viewed in light of that fact ... but i like it, a fair value for CIBT is above the current share price imho, and if they can execute well with SEG, then hooo-hah, it's to the moon Alice.
