Egads! For those who wondered how plausible it might be for someone to willingly get into a car with a mugger without fighting, screaming, or calling any attention to oneself, the referenced story is proof positive such scenarios are quite possible. Even more bizarre, the victim was not ordered to be a passenger but a driver, and no weapon was ever produced!

One of the questions we've pondered here is the likelihood Suzanne Jovin could have been forced into a car, perhaps on a busy street, without causing any noticeable commotion. While the above situation doesn't prove such a scenario took place with Ms. Jovin, it certainly does raise the probability up a notch higher.
