TURNER VALLEY PROJECT UPDATE January 29, 2001 Stampede Turner Valley 2-34-20-3 W5M well Bearcat is aware that a few non-factual postings, predicting further testing/operational delays, are on the Internet as of today’s date. A revised Resident Information Package, for distribution in accordance with its related commitments and obligations to the AEUB and area residents, is currently being prepared by Stampede Oils Inc., the operator. Preparation of this Resident Information Package is very critical as the contained data must be complete in context, with no room for error. The operator’s new engineering consulting firm is familiarizing itself with the downhole and surface equipment of the well and expect to be apprised of the necessary test equipment availability in the next few days. The operator is endeavouring to have the well testing operation commence at the very earliest possible time. Bearcat Explorations Ltd. is listed on the Canadian Venture Exchange under the symbol BEA.
