Me either. My 996 is way better in every respect than my 993 was. Your M5 will not even come close to a 996 TT in a straight line and ANY 996 will kick the M5's heavy (fading brakes under weight, understeering) arse on the track. When my ECU comes back tomorrow AM from being tuned, I know of 1 996 (a heavy cab at that) that will take your M5 in a straight line as well :-)

BTW, straight line performance on the stock 996 coupe is the same as an M5. Perhaps you should have qualified "spoke (smoke)" since handling vs. the 996 is not close enough to be a point of comparison.
