Monty, intraday charts the best use of intradays for me has been to watch the the 12 and 36 hour MA, and watch for crossovers. This helps prevent whipsaws since I'm not making decisions based on the price vs. MA line . Case in point, ESST on the hourly chart dropped below the 36 hour MA, but the 12 hour Ma did not cross over the 36, so no sell signal. So far it's kept me in the stock for what I think is a multi-point move to come. chart.bigcharts.com
