M, the Euro has gone from about 120 to the low 80s during its short lifespan. 106 by March is definitely a tough shot. I think you have to be playing in the 94-98 range on strike prices to have any chance of making money. Perhaps par if you are out long enough, but I think that will be a real sticking point.

I don't do charts, though I think there are some available on the phlx.com site. Also, Yahoo and Iwon.com both have currency pages that include charts.

There is no volume at all in any but the most current, at the money currency options. What there is is in the longer term is me about half the time. You may also want to look at the futures options on the Chicago Merc, as they are more active. But they are also kind of on the big contract side.
