BREW is supporting a deeper level (hardware level)development environment as well as user interface layer. Try writing a device driver in HTML! WML and cHTML allow reformat of content. Ability to integrate hardware control and software interfaces will yield far more interesting applications and wireless devices.

Ben, BREW takes one page out of the MSFT book for generating third-party app development and another page from IJ's "You are not doing it right. This is how you do it." text. Using C/C++ and providing the SDK free and soon, they allow software developers to migrate their C/C++ skills straight to the wireless market. Many of these programmers moved to dot.coms to do Web development and are now looking for a new opportunity. Here it is.
