OT/Doug. Mark may be right.

Imperial Valley CA (and other low rainfall areas of southern California) is a huge supplier of fresh and frozen produce of all kinds for the entire nation from Nov through May.

Because these areas require a lot of water AND electricity to pump and spray the 10s of thousands of acres; Looks to me like there could be a pretty significant increase in costs here that will passed on to consumers all over the nation in increased food costs in the months ahead.
