Joel, that sucks but isn't surprising. Murkowski is positioning the administration so that when California doesn't have things solved next week (when the current order to ship power in expires), Bush won't have to renew the order on the pretext that doing so leaves the liability where it surely does not belong (on the American bagholder, ERRR, taxpayer).

BTW, EIX and PCG are tanking pretty hard today. Makes you wonder what else is going on, or are they starting to discount the possibility that this won't be solved as easily as we've been led to believe.
