I will never agree with this initiative

I'm just starting to look into it. There's not a lot of information out there yet. I was surprised that Uncle Sam is in the business of providing direct social services at all. So I'm pretty ignorant on the subject. I'm sure you know that my natural instinct is to be wary. Do you know just what services we're talking about here?

Specifically, Bush created an Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives in the White House, which will work with centers in five agencies -- Justice, Housing and Urban Development, Health and Human Services, Labor and Education -- to ease regulations that inhibit religious charities and to promote grass-roots efforts.
