OT/ Agree Tommaso. Metaphors are a kin to analogies, which I recall from my undergrad days as being classified by logicians as the weakest form of argument. They can also be simultaneously humorous AND sobering when the imagination supplies a few images. Like a stressed out Greenspan, wired on reds, driving an 18 wheel economy all over the road.
