From what I re-read last night, advanced industrial countries find it more difficult to inflate their way out of debt due to the long term structural damage it does to their bonds.

If they are stable at all, politically, they are more likely to withstand some deflation associated with wiping out the bad debt.

I'm in the camp that says we will see some inflation in some areas, then some, maybe more, deflation in others.
