Union teachers, union autoworkers, union cops are fired every week, every day. The operative phrase is "for cause." That way, workers aren't fired "on a whim" or because somebody was unlucky enough to walk in on the boss having sex with his secretary. Terrible, isn't it, Jimbo ... having to actually have "cause" before firing someone? Awful. Really messes up the way we do business in this country ... puts us light years behind those countries with semi-slave labor.
