I personally can not see how the CB can keep the printing presses going and decrease interest rates without serious problems.

By "serious problems", do you mean inflation? What if the Fed decides to opt for growth even if it means inflation in the high single digits (or maybe even low double digits)?

As a corollary, what kind of investments are likely to flourish in such a scenario? I ask this question because I think this is the most likely scenario going forward, i.e. growth at any cost.
