Loral will not provide further funding for Globalstar. In addition, we intend to write down substantially all of our Globalstar investment in the year 2000 to get the financial impact behind us. As you know, we similarly modified our strategy regarding Globalstar recently. It is clear to us that Globalstar's technological superiority and quality of service will ultimately lead to broad acceptance of the product in the targeted markets. Other than as a franchise participant, however, Loral will not provide further funding for Globalstar. In addition, we intend to write down substantially all of our Globalstar investment in the year 2000 to get the financial impact behind us. See prior post for full report.
