Apparently, as indicated by the link below, there is a new analyst covering the company. This is the first time I've seen this. Looks as if the release date of the report is 29 January 2001. Anyone know anything about Canaccord, their Bluebook, or Mark Horn? Are they based in London?

gbttelecom.com

These are the last few paragraphs of the research note:

Global Light is currently trading at a deep discount to its underlying value.

Based on its interest in Bestel and Arcos-1 alone, we value Global Light at US$22/share unadjusted for dilution by existing options, warrants and convertibles.

On our valuation of the underlying assets, if Global Light were to raise US$30 million, which is sufficient cash to fund its commitment to Bestel and to cover overheads, refinancing and current liabilities, its underlying value would rise to US$28/share; the fully diluted value per share is US$25.

As Global Light is a holding company, a discount of between 10-30% sets a price target range of US$17.50-22.50/share.

Time will tell.
