Interesting article, TP. Has Ashcroft responded to these charges? Without hearing his side I would guess that Ashcroft did factor in Hormel's sexual preferences when voting for the ambassadorship. I would like to hear what he said in response to Hormel's letter. Seems odd that he would flat out lie about knowing someone who almost certainly would call him on it. Also, Hormel would certainly have an axe to grind because Ashcroft did vote against him. Scott Also, I hope that strange e-newspaper is not your only source of news. Based on the general headlines it is so far to the left that I had to lay my moniter on its side so I could read it!
